The Misty Moonlight Diner was established in 1996 by Daniel Lennon at it’s former location at 505 East Street, Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The concept was simple. Classic cuisine in a 50’s theme. We serve everything from hand-pressed burgers, blue plate specials, fresh seafood, large sandwiches, and of course, breakfast anytime of the day. It’s comfort food that reminds you of those lazy Sunday afternoons at your grandmother’s house. Our food is made to order, so sit back, relax, and enter a time warp back to simpler times. Enjoy our endless collection of memorabilia, including a Rock-Ola jukebox and a custom Harley Davidson motorcycle.
In December, 2005, we outgrew the East Street location, and decided to purchase an old seafood restaurant just a few miles across town. After 11 months of extensive renovations, we opened the new and improved Misty Moonlight Diner at 565 Dalton Avenue, Pittsfield, Massachusetts. We now have a larger seating capacity and our Blue Moon Room can be used for smaller private functions.
We have been voted Best Diner in the Berkshires for 9 years in a row and Best Breakfast in the Berkshires 8 years in a row by Berkshire Eagle readers. Our philosophy will never change: courteous service, quality food and generous portions at reasonable prices.
